On Arrival

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This gives you an opportunity to take a seat in the waiting area, use the bathroom (on the left as you enter the building).

Remember to turn your phone to silent.  Your donation can be placed into an envelope provided on entrance desk, please write your name in pencil on the outside and bring it into the treatment area with you when you are called through.

Things to Remember

Please wear loose fitting clothing. Acupuncture points between wrists and elbows, ankles to knees and the abdomen are frequently used, easy access to these areas is helpful.

Avoid a large meal for an hour before and after treatment. Alcohol should be avoided for a 12-hour window either side of the session.

The Treatment Session

The clinic is open plan and can accommodate up to 3 patients. There is a respectful privacy within the room, which patients report as a nurturing and relaxing environment. There is no separate space for consultation.

Once you have discussed the treatment and the needles are in, you will be given time to relax whilst the practitioner treats the next patient. You are always monitored and supported throughout.
