Second Spring Social

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), menopause is called the ‘Second Spring’ in a woman’s life. It represents the renewal of energy and opportunities as there is a shift from fertility and reproduction, to conserving and nourishing the self. In the West this time is often viewed as a negative and, until recently, rarely discussed.

MENOPAUSE SUPPORT

Low Cost £10 Ear Acupuncture

Tuesdays 6-8PM
Birdwood House, Totnes

Wednesdays 3-5PM
Harbour House, Kingsbridge

Samantha has provided  this casual, low cost ear acupuncture clinic to provide a communal gathering to receive support and advice whilst enjoying tea and conversation.

The ear needles are in place for 30 minutes giving you time to relax and chat and perhaps even laugh!

You are in a comfortable seated position with no need to adjust clothing.

Feedback from patients is the inspiration for this clinic as many feel isolated and confused by the varied symptoms.

The wisdom from our maternal predecessors is no longer passed down in the same way so it gives an opportunity to meet with others who may be experiencing similar challenges and pick up advice along the way .

Ear Acupuncture

Ear Acupuncture is a form of Chinese Medicine based on the idea that the ear is a micro system, which reflects the entire body, represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear. Conditions affecting the physical, mental or emotional health of the patient are treatable by stimulation of the surface of the ear exclusively with fine acupuncture needles.
